This is a lightly-used border crossing, so there are not many border lineups.

Chateaugay and Herdman Port Information

  • Both the U.S. and Canadian ports are open 7 days a week 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Commercial services are available at the Canadian port 8am to 5pm.
  • The Canadian port is a Designated Export Office (EXPORT).
  • You can confirm that there have been no changes to port hours at the official government websites for the U.S. port of Herdman and the Canadian port of Chateaugay. Changes to port hours happen infrequently.
