After a 20-day shutdown of Minnesota state government, lawmakers settled their budget dispute and restarted services on July 21st, 2011.
All of the following activities should now be fully functional:
- 511mn.org, traffic cameras, and other traveler information services
- MnPASS lanes are operating.
- Rest areas on Minnesota state highways should be open by Saturday the 24th.
- FIRST trucks are operating.
State-wide construction projects will resume as contractors move equipment back to the work sites.
