Ambassador Bridge Traffic Restrictions on June 17th

Ambassador Bridge – Bike the Bridge Event

On June 17, 2012 the Ambassador Bridge will close one lane of traffic to allow Canadian and American cyclists the opportunity to bike across the bridge.   About 200 cyclists participate in the event which typically starts at 7:00 am and runs most of the day.  The impact on bridge traffic should be over by 8:00 or 9:00 am.

Traffic congestion on the bridge will be of course be somewhat heavier than usual during this event so plan your border crossing between Michigan and Ontario accordingly.  Local roads in the area may also be crowded with cyclists so be on the lookout.
