Ferry Point Port Closure

The Ferry Point border crossing in Calais, Maine will be closed to U.S. bound traffic on Oct. 17, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. so the roadway can be repaved.   It will reopen and resume normal operations at midnight on Oct. 21.   During this 5 day closure you will need to use the Milltown or International Avenue border crossings.

The Milltown border crossing is the closest available port and is open to passenger vehicles – no commercial vehicles are allowed.   The International Avenue port of entry is approximately two miles upstream and is open to all passenger vehicles and commercial trucks.

ezbordercrossing.com works to keep you informed about traffic or weather issues, port construction, legal issues, and most anything else regarding the U.S. / Canadian border.
