A new NEXUS lane has been added to the Sumas, Washington port of entry into the United States. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will open the lane on May 25th 2012. The NEXUS lane between Washington State and British Columbia will operate between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Nexus hours southbound into the U.S. at the Blaine / Surrey Pacific Highway Truck crossing have been extended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection by two hours. The NEXUS lane on Washington state highway 543 is now open 6am and 9 pm, seven days a week. The hours for NEXUS lanes entering Canada have not changed and are open daily 7 a.m. to Midnight.

Hours of operation for the Point Roberts / Boundary Bay NEXUS lanes have been extended when entering Canada. The new hours for the Washington State / British Columbia border crossing are 7am to 10pm seven days a week. Entering the United States, hours of operation remain 11am to 7 pm seven days a week.
