Peace Arch Port Closure

Hands Across the Border will close Peach Arch

On Sunday, June 10th 2012 the Peace Arch border crossing will be closed   from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the annual Hands Across the Border celebration.  Northbound I-5 will be closed at Exit 276 and you will be detoured at Exit 275 to the Pacific Highway border crossing in Blaine, Washington.   Southbound Canadian Highway 99 will also be closed and drivers will be detoured to British Columbia Highway 15.

If you must cross the border during this event, consider going early or late or using one of the other border crossings – like the Lynden/Aldergrove or Sumas/Huntingdon crossings.
